Supporting Local Teams

The 2024 Major League Rugby season was a special one for Lone Star Drone. As the official media partner and sponsor of the Dallas Jackals, we had the incredible opportunity to produce video and photography content during what turned out to be their final season. While the team's decision to fold was bittersweet, we are immensely proud of the work we accomplished and the impact we had in growing the game of rugby in the U.S.

From the start of the season, our team was fully embedded with the Jackals, capturing every crucial moment both on and off the field. We handled the team and dancer media days, producing stunning headshots, dynamic video content, and engaging promotional materials. These assets helped define the Jackals’ brand identity and brought their players and performers closer to the fans.

In-game entertainment was another key area where Lone Star Drone delivered. We created high-energy content that played on the stadium’s big screen, elevating the fan experience and keeping the crowd engaged throughout each match. Our team also filmed and edited game highlights, ensuring that the best plays and biggest moments were showcased to rugby fans everywhere.

Beyond the stadium, our video production extended into broadcast and social media. We produced professional-grade broadcast spots that aired throughout the season, helping to elevate the Jackals' presence in the league. On Instagram alone, our content racked up over a quarter-million views, demonstrating the power of high-quality media in growing a team’s brand and connecting with fans.

While the Jackals may not be taking the field in future seasons, we take great pride in knowing that our work helped shape their final chapter. It was an honor to support the team, celebrate the sport of rugby, and contribute to the MLR community.
